Treasures of Ancient Egypt & Lake Nasser - 08 February 2010

Led by Sue Lewis, a hugely experienced and entertaining Tour Leader, this fascinating trip takes you to some of the most important ancient treasures of Egypt.

Staring in Luxor you visit the spectacular temples of Karnak & Luxor as well as the legendary Valley of the Kings. You then fly to Aswan where you board your boat for a four day cruise on Lake Nasser to Abu Simbel, visiting many rarely visited sites along the way. You finish back in Cairo with a visit to the iconic Great Pyramids that date back 4500 years and the Egyptian Museum, which is home to some of the most important historical gems from the ancient world.

Option extensions: Alexandria & El Alamein (3 nights) OR Beach extensions to Sharm el Sheik or Hurghada
